Family Circle just released this year’s 10 Best Towns for Families.  The results appear in Family Circle’s September issue, available now.

Family Circle utilizes information from Onboard Informatics to assess each town within their criteria and compile the final list.  They started with 4,200 cities and towns with populations between 10,000 and 100,000. From that, nearly 1,400 localities having a high concentration of households with median incomes between $60,000 and $110,000 were selected. They then assessed which places met their family-friendly criteria—including affordable homes, quality schools, access to healthcare, low crime rates and financial stability—and ranked them from top to bottom.   The top 10 are highlighted in the article.

Onboard has been partnering with Family Circle on this annual project since 2007 and we’re always anxious to see the results.  Click here to find out which towns made the top 10 list this year!
